Overview

At Devtek Repairs, we provide a 90-day limited warranty on all completed repair services. This warranty covers the specific issue repaired or service requested by the customer, and applies only to the scope of work carried out. It includes both parts and labour, unless otherwise stated.

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers:

  • Defects in parts supplied and installed by Devtek Repairs.
  • Labour issues or installation faults directly related to the original service.
  • Reoccurrence of the same fault that was diagnosed and repaired within 90 calendar days from the completion date.

The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement (at our discretion) of the faulty part or service. It does not cover full device replacement or refunds.

2. What Is Not Covered

  • New or unrelated issues.
  • Physical damage, liquid exposure, fire damage, or accidental misuse after the repair.
  • Any tampering or work done by third parties after our repair.
  • Software issues, data corruption, or malware.
  • General wear and tear or cosmetic concerns.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To lodge a warranty claim, the customer must:

  • Provide the original invoice or valid proof of service.
  • Return the device in the same condition as when the repair was completed (excluding the original issue).
  • Ensure the device has not been opened or altered by a third party.

4. Warranty Claim Process & Shipping

To initiate a claim:

  1. Contact Devtek Repairs within 90 days of job completion.
  2. Provide proof of service and a detailed description of the fault.
  3. Return the device for inspection (shipping at customer's expense initially).

If the issue is confirmed to be related to the original repair, Devtek Repairs will cover the cost of return shipping to the customer. If the fault is unrelated, caused by misuse, or falls outside the scope of warranty, all shipping costs remain the customer's responsibility. All warranty work must be approved and completed by Devtek Repairs. No reimbursements are provided for work performed by others.

5. Limitation of Liability

Devtek Repairs is not liable for any data loss, incidental damage, or consequential damages. Customers are strongly advised to back up all data prior to repair.

Where reasonable, Devtek Repairs will make efforts to resolve issues amicably. Final acceptance of liability is at our discretion.

6. Australian Consumer Law Notice

This warranty operates alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for other foreseeable loss or damage.
